The site provides the ability to send realtor post cards and newsletters from the site. The site also keeps track of all correspondence in a backend database. This also includes all clients that visit the site and subscribe to the newsletter. Clients information is also kept on the site to allow the realtor to access the clients information from any location on the web - including her IPhone. It takes into account the cognitive, behavioral, physical, and affective design methodologies of interface design. The overall goal is to ensure a proper fit between the user and the system. Usability is a key aspect to achieving this goal and each component of the site takes the user, the task, and the context in which the task is completed into account. CrewDog will be a site dedicated to military crewdogs and base locations world wide. The project also allows me to explore the Google mapping API. This web application was developed for Northrop Grumman Corp. as a repository to store and make easily accessible the tools and information needed to make informed business development decisions. The site is fairly extensive and required a concerted development effort of me and another developer. The site tracks users and permissions assigned by use of profiles. It is a knowledge base which captures all aspects of business development strategies. The site also incorporates a secure admin section to manage content and user profiles. The site is designed around a SCORM compliant LMS system. The part I designed for this client was the help system and auto generated FAQ's (that are designated from the help system). ARI students are able to submit Help Tickets from which the Admin can not only modify (for the site FAQ page) but can also enter comments and auto send response's to student submissions as well as others. Tickets can also be designated as open or closed and there is also a history generated of all updates / changes to a tickets lifecycle. This web application was developed for Northrop Grumman Corp. as a means to provide on demand Job Knowledge to employee's. I designed the site to make extensive use of user controls which allows me to keep the site modular and easy to manage. News feeds are also piped in as well as out via XML. Polls are also administered on the site as well as featured articles which can be mailed to colleagues. The site also interfaces with Microsoft Active Directory to verify user credentials and with OpenText Live Link software. The site also incorporates a secure admin section to manage content. This web application was another developed for Northrop Grumman Corp. Its purpose is to provided Managers the HR tools they need to do their job on a daily bases. What sets this web application apart is that all its content (including images and menus) is generated dynamically. This means that managers can populate the site to fit them and their employees needs. It also allows for documents and resource's to be uploaded and made available.
